  1. Why do you need people to think and do for you? Are you not strong enough or smart enough to figure this out yourselves? If you want to give your money away, go down to Philadelphia and look at the homeless. If you think you are better then the rest the spend the money on a good therapist cause you need one. No one is better then the next. Get a backbone and move on.

Mac and a few others noticed the similarity to some of Wetherill’s ideas to Buddhism. So did I while reading one of the books that are available for free download. It’s hard to say where he got his ideas without knowing more about him, but he certainly had a lot of insight. Most people who would be capable of enough self honesty to apply his techniques to their own thinking and behavior would benefit from it. It would be better to read it and try to understand it without letting the language get in the way of your understanding than to be critical of something you don’t understand. Wetherill’s use of the word “absolute” is unfortunate because what he’s talking about is not strictly Moral Absolutism. Anyway, keep an open mind and read it.

The alphapub site is now a “member” only login site. Consequently, there are no free downloads. I wonder what happened to them and how much they spent on magazines ads pointing to a closed site?

I find all these posts amazing. Never having heard of Richard Wetherill before, I opened a Lions Club International Magazine with an ad about him and his philosophy. Intriguing to say the least…including the negative posts as well as the positive. Incidently, the website (www.alphapub.com) does not open properly unless you are already a member…it seems as if all activity for new inquiries are closed.
Based on where my curiosity and my interest in the last several years has taken me, I would say without reading any of his writings, that Wetherill was way before his time but his gift of insight about mind is right on. Just check out Jose Silva, Wayne Dyer, Tony Robbins…they have just taken different directions of the same premise…that you can direct your thoughts, you can control what your mind thinks and you can stop the spiral of do-nothing-ness that is a byproduct of being human since creation.
Why do you think Napoleon Hill influenced so many people who are wealthy beyond measure now? What was that certain something that put them over the edge? Henry Ford to name one was just your average worker but dreamed dreams that came true. Negativity is not new in human creation, but controlling the mind to NOT think NEGATIVE is relatively new. Some people knew the SECRET but kept it to themselves and their cohorts, but the passing of this to everyone as a gift is tremendous.
But what does humanity do with the gift but put-down, witch hunt, destroy character, denigrating opinions QUESTION source, Question REASON, QUESTION state of mind…all guaranteed to MAKE SURE this gift, this SECRET is not realized in the world and thereby putting an end to any hope for REAL END TO SUFFERING AND INJUSTICE IN THE WORLD IN OUR LIFETIME.

Just went to the website and had no problems downloading all four books. No member login or registration needed.
All seems very interesting. Look forward to reading the material.

More or less every idea that gets turned into a movement gets corrupted. there are many people who have come to the conclusion that right leads to right wrong leads to wrong. so how do u know whats right? simple: love leads to love, hate leads to hate. or it can be put as treat others as you with to be treated. just because someone had a idea of love or right and it became a cult or movement doesnt take away from its truth, just means people are followers some good some bad, and some people are leaders some good some bad. i like to say follow the truth not people.

Is this the Richard Wetherill that discovered the Mesa Verde?
